MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH:

When I was in middle school, I didn't know who I was or what I wanted to be. I tried to fit in where I could and it ended up being with the kids that did drugs. I also went through a death of a close family member which I never did any grieving over. I just numbed my body with drugs. That led to a very rough next 6 years.

I wanted to be a fireman and pro football player. Then when drugs came in to my life, all my dreams went away and all I had left was staying in my small town and working with my dad. I had no hope and no dreams. When I got clean, I picked up again and found my dream again. Now I am going to college to be an engineer.

Bottom line - When you mess with drugs, all the hopes and dreams go away and all you have left is yourself and your drug, which is a really sad life.
