Community Talks Series

Bringing the information you need to your facility

Our Community Talks series is a free community program that is designed to connect professionals to the public in a format similar to a seminar. The program addresses community-wide concerns and issues that relate to substance use risks, mental health, and addictions.

One Community Talk is hosted by ARC each yearly quarter as a live webinar that features one or more volunteering professionals that have experience in local communities.

A Community Talk can be requested for a personal group at any facility or workplace through email to jbrost@arcouncil.net.

Upon request, you will be asked about the topic you’d like to learn more about and whether you’d prefer a virtual or in-person format. Requests must be made at least 2 months before the desired date.

  • Mental Health & Substance Use

  • Supporting a Loved One

  • Alcoholism & Self-Risk

  • Providing Resources at Work

  • Assessing Lifestyle Choices & Value

  • Youth Risks & Trends

  • Any specified substance or addiction
