We offer alcohol and drug prevention education, intervention, and support.
Our Beginning
Your Choice to Live, Inc. was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2012 by the Lybert family after their son struggled for many years with a drug addiction. The Lybert’s began sharing their family story of the struggles of addiction in order to help others navigate similar situations.
“We try to remove the stigma of addiction by putting a face on it. Don’t hide from it; don’t run from it.”
— Sandi Lybert, FOUNDER
Our Programs
Our first goal was to use people who have lived through addiction to educate youth about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. After the first year of providing these presentations, we realized that parent education was equally important. Your Choice to Live, Inc. joined forces with Rosecrance, the Oconomowoc Parent Education Network and the Oconomowoc Area School District to create the Stairway to Heroin Educational Series. With the collaboration of many school administrators, community members, coalitions and police departments, we continued to expand to include prevention programs, support programs and risk reduction programs.
Our Mission
It is our mission to provide awareness, prevention education, resources and support to youth, parents, schools and communities in regard to alcohol and drug use. Through these educational and prevention efforts, we will help shape healthy, responsible and successful future generations who are equipped with the necessary resiliency and decision-making skills to make good choices in all aspects of their lives.

Events
Parents are the most powerful influence in their child's lives. We provide parent and community education programs to help equip parents in raising drug free children. Please consider attending one of our educational presentations to learn more about being the solution to the growing problem of substance abuse.
Get Involved
Preventing substance use is a community effort. There are many ways that you can partner with Your Choice to take action. We accept volunteers for many of our events. Donations are also vital to our growth, as we use them for funding prevention education programs.
